Founding partner at LIFE ON FITNESS. I'm a fitness enthusiast (not a fitness 'professional'). Being massively obese, I started my fitness journey at around the age of 14. It wasn't the cool thing to do yet, and didn't even know what my life was missing. It only got better as I researched, tried, studied, and tested evermore fitness elements and knowledge. I write my thoughts with the hopes of inspiring even one person to achieve their life goals as well as their fitness goals. But most importantly enjoy and get the best out of life.
It’s time to start preparing because things will change quickly. When it comes to it and life goes back to normal, will we also go back to all our previous habits? Will we retain out new habits? It may get even tougher as time goes on. Will we have time for fitness?
How would you rate your lockdown experience so far? What new things have you tried or started doing? I’ve had a go at rating mine, if for nothing more than my own wellness and sanity. Have fun with it and rate your own lockdown…
It’s important to pace your physical activity and fitness. Fatigue is common when we overwork ourselves and current circumstances can increase its effect. Work on your fitness, but also its sustainability. Are you starting to feel the onset of fatigue or lower energy levels?
Of course I miss training at the gym and all the equipment that comes with it. But it’s not all bad. Here are some positives I’ve found from home training. What do you like most about home training?
It’s tough, but it’s not a problem. Sometimes it takes someone else pointing out the obvious to me to make me think about my actions. As hard as it is for me to not go to the gym, it isn’t about me in this case. It’s my loved ones. And a small sacrifice goes a long way.
