It’s tough, but it’s not a problem. Sometimes it takes someone else pointing out the obvious to me to make me think about my actions. As hard as it is for me to not go to the gym, it isn’t about me in this case. It’s my loved ones. And a small sacrifice goes a long way.
There’s got to be scientific research on whether training with a plan or freestyling is more effective. However, let’s discuss preference as I see mates at the gym doing either or. Which do you prefer?
If consistency is key, what does it mean to be consistent, and what are the keys to consistency? How do you stay consistent?
Is overcommitting an issue? We see many people promoting ‘no days off’ training as a necessity. Is it though? Life is important even if it does get in the way.
I love my fitness, but it’s not necessarily the same lifestyle and journey. Not taking any credit and prestige away from competitiors, but I often find inspiration elsewhere.
Throughout my years training, I have always struggled to decide which days of the week I want take off as a rest day. It doesn’t matter what my program is, each day of the week still gives me a different reason to train..
