From Enthusiasts My Best Life

A Common Purpose

The gym is an awesome place. The diversity of members who come together as individuals to achieve their goals, all with a common purpose.

The gym is an amazing place. I’ve been asked in the past if I agree with the fact that the gym is a luxury. That is a question for another day as there’s a lot that can be discussed on that topic. But in it of itself, the gym is a wonderful place.

To start with the gym is a place where individuals go to work on themselves. It doesn’t matter what or how different our goals and programs are, we are all there to achieve something and improve ourselves.

My favourite thing about the gym though is its diversity. The members are as diverse as our goals. Not only is there this amazing diversity in gender, ethnicity, race etc. all individually working on ourselves in a shared space. But I’m also referring to people from all walks of life with different occupations, career paths, at different points in our journeys of life. I’ve met doctors, actors, students, property developers, accountants, servers, graphic designers, salesman, and taxi drivers, to name a few. And the amazing thing is that this diversity is almost irrelevant as we all come to the same space with a common purpose.

It’s awesome!!!

Founding partner at LIFE ON FITNESS. I'm a fitness enthusiast (not a fitness 'professional'). Being massively obese, I started my fitness journey at around the age of 14. It wasn't the cool thing to do yet, and didn't even know what my life was missing. It only got better as I researched, tried, studied, and tested evermore fitness elements and knowledge. I write my thoughts with the hopes of inspiring even one person to achieve their life goals as well as their fitness goals. But most importantly enjoy and get the best out of life.
