As it’s the New Year resolution time, we would love to hear your tips on how someone can set and stick to their resolution.
It’s 2019 and yet this conversation is there to be had. It’s a personal matter. I train because I enjoy it, but it affects me, and with the social norms and all the comments I get, it’s been on my mind. How do I reconcile my more muscular physique with my femininity?
Sometimes, we find it hard to ask for help out of fear of appearing weak, but it’s a necessity. We all need a helping hand at some point. Use your training to apply this. Ask for help when you may not be comfortable during training, and it can help you do the same in life. Most people are willing to help in both fitness and life if you just ask.
We are constantly seeing different methods and theories on social media and the Internet in general. To say any method is wrong is incorrect. However, my own experiences have shown me that these different methods gave me different results. I had to ask myself which one is better for me…. cardio or weights?
It’s always different. Motivation hits everyone differently and changes over time. For me it began out of anger towards an abusive ex. A self-promise on a day where I thought I would die that I would never allow myself to be beaten again. And overtime, it became more.
The gym is an awesome place. The diversity of members who come together as individuals to achieve their goals, all with a common purpose.
